Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what information SubPeek ("we", "us") collects when you use our subreddit alert service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to send you alerts.
What we collect
- Your email address — to sign you in with a one-time link and to send you alerts and service messages.
- Your alert rules — the subreddits you follow, your include and exclude keywords, and the channels you choose.
- Telegram chat ID and username — only if you connect our Telegram bot, so we can message you.
- Discord webhook URLs — only if you add them, so we can post alerts to your channel.
- Delivery records — which posts we alerted you about, when, through which channel, and whether delivery succeeded, so you can see your alert history.
We never ask for, receive or store your Reddit username or password. You don't need a Reddit account to use SubPeek.
Reddit data
We use the official Reddit Data API in read-only mode. We only read public posts in public subreddits, and we only store public details of posts that matched your alerts: title, author, subreddit, time and link. Post text is used only to check your keywords at the moment we fetch it and is not stored.
How we use your information
We use your information only to run SubPeek: to sign you in, check subreddits for you, send your alerts, and tell you about problems with your alerts (for example, if a Discord webhook stops working). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service, and they process data only on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosting and database.
- Resend — sending email.
- Discord and Telegram — delivering alerts, only if you choose those channels.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- You can edit, pause or delete any alert from your dashboard.
- You can disconnect Telegram at any time by sending /stop to our bot.
- You can delete your account from Settings. This permanently deletes your account and all of its data, including your alerts and delivery history. It cannot be undone.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete its data right away. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
